The town of Martina Franca and our Villa San Domenico and Trullo Pietro are situated in the province of Taranto, a stone's throw away from "Terra delle Gravine" Regional Park and almost halfway between the Adriatic Sea (16 miles) and the Ionian Sea (19 miles), perfect for families with children, young people looking for adventure and expert travellers loving history, culture and nature that this wonderful land can offer.
Holiday Home "Villa San Domenico"
Villa San Domenico is a gorgeous Holiday Home combining modernity and tradition with its three trulli surrounded by a one-hectare garden in the heart of the Itria Valley.
This Villa has a large pool, a superb terrace and patios, including a garden full of character with its vineyards, olive and fruit trees.

This stylish and welcoming holiday home boasts a very large kitchen, three double bedrooms, with three bathrooms including one en-suite. All the furnishings were recently renovated in a sober warm, yet elegant style.
​
Villa San Domenico is a trullo measuring about 200 square metres, recently rebuilt in the name of comfort and sustainability, with an EPC rating C. It has beautiful new windows with blackout curtains to keep the house fresh in the summer and a solar heating system equipped with a fireplace to maintain warmth in winter. The air conditioning system also emits cold and warm air.

You will enjoy all the comforts of home in the middle of nature: a bright and broad kitchen, a great internal patio, a barbecue space, a large pool and a fantastic garden full of character, with vineyards, olive and fruit trees.
Villa San Domenico is three kilometres from the charming Baroque city of Martina Franca. It is just a few kilometres away from Alberobello, the trulli town UNESCO heritage site, Locorotondo, recognised for its white wine and hosting a famous jazz festival, Ostuni, the world famous white city, and Cisternino, which has become a popular spot for showbiz crowds, music and cinema festivals. Only 20 kilometres away you can discover the coastline of the Adriatic Sea, which offers you a wide choice of equipped beaches and natural coves.
Holiday Home "Trullo Pietro"
The Holiday Home Trullo Pietro is a large and very charming five-cone trullo, located in the countryside and 10 minutes outside the beautiful Baroque town of Martina Franca.

This villa has a private pool and is surrounded by 10,000 square metres of woodland.
​
Trullo Pietro has been lovingly restored, in keeping with its original features, and includes three comfortable bedrooms and two bathrooms, to give you a countryside Italian experience without renouncing on comfort.
​
The living areas and traditional kitchen all sit under beautiful natural stone trullo cones, as does the master bedroom. In the lounge, there is a traditional stone fireplace. Perfect for the family gatherings, don’t you think?

In addition, there is another terrace close to the property, surrounded by statuesque pine trees, an outside pizza oven and a smaller terrace overlooking the olive grove.

The land on which Trullo Pietro sits is entirely enclosed within its own gated walls. It is a 10 minute drive from the beautiful Itrian Valley town of Martina Franca, 30 minutes from the UNESCO World Heritage town of Alberobello and Cisternino and less than an hour from Ostuni and the Adriatic coast.

Martina Franca is a hilltop town towards the Northern end of the Itria Valley. It has a beautiful centro storico or historical centre, with some very impressive Baroque architecture. The countryside surrounding the town is dotted with lush farmland, masserie and trulli.
​
Martina Franca is known as the cittaÌ€ dei festival – city of festivals – and during the summer months there are parades, celebrations and a rich cultural programme of art and opera. The festival of San Martino, the Patron Saint of Martina, is in early July and the whole town gathers in the centro storico for the parade.
