Spring has finally arrived in the UK, and with it comes a sense of momentum across all our projects. After months of rain, the colours of the season are beginning to break through and everything feels just a little easier when the skies clear.

UK Developments: Building, Converting, Improving

Across the country, our teams have been pushing forward with major milestones:

  • London: Scaffolding is now fully up, marking the next phase of restoration and structural work. At our Faraday Road site, a structural assessment revealed that the chimney was not stable. We have reached an agreement with the neighbour to take it down, improving safety for both properties and gaining valuable space in the loft conversion currently underway.

Birmingham – City Road: The conversion into social housing is well underway. All stripping‑out works have been completed, opening the way for the next stage of redevelopment and community‑focused design.

These projects reflect our long‑term commitment to sustainable housing, choosing the right buildings and planning well from the start.

Italy: Preparing for Summer

Spring also means renewal for our Italian sites:

  • The pool clean‑up has begun.

  • Garden maintenance is underway.

  • The olive tree plantation is being tended and prepared for the warmer months.

It’s a reminder that good property stewardship is seasonal, patient, and deeply rewarding.

Compliance & Tenant Support: Ready for the Renters’ Rights Act

With the Renters’ Rights Act coming into force in May, we have already issued all required notices to our existing tenants. Preparation is key, and we are proud to say:

  • All EICRs have been renewed and are fully satisfactory.

  • All EPCs meet the minimum C rating, ensuring energy efficiency and compliance with upcoming regulations.

When you choose the right projects and plan, there is nothing to fear from regulatory change, only opportunities to improve standards for everyone involved.

A Note on Global Uncertainty

The ongoing crisis in the Middle East continues to cast uncertainty over energy markets. Although today brings news of a tentative ceasefire, the situation remains fragile. We remain vigilant, adaptive, and committed to protecting our tenants and landlords from sudden shocks wherever possible.

Community Spotlight: Apulian Festival, 6–15 June

We are also delighted to support the Apulian Festival this June (6–15), organised through pugliesinelmondouk.org. This initiative is part of our wider commitment to community engagement. Real progress begins with people, with culture, connection, and shared identity, and we are proud to contribute.

To Our Landlords and Tenants

Wishing you smooth navigation through the season ahead. If you have any questions about regulations, projects, or community initiatives, just ask!
