Summer Progress Update at Hermione Homes 🏡🔨

It has been another busy and exciting summer on site, with plenty of progress being made as we continue transforming this beautiful property.

One of the biggest jobs currently underway is working alongside Thames Water to create an independent water supply for the upper apartment. The entire system is being upgraded, with new pipework running from the basement all the way to the top-floor flat, ensuring a modern, reliable, and fully self-contained service for years to come.

Inside, we're stripping out all the existing first-floor flooring and replacing it with a stunning new click LVT system. We've carefully selected a high-quality, hard-wearing finish that's perfect for everyday family life, complete with the appropriate insulation and underlay to maximise comfort and performance. The loft area, meanwhile, will be finished with beautiful carpeting to create a warm and cosy living space. All materials have now been chosen and are ready for delivery.

And can we take a moment to appreciate that new staircase? It looks absolutely fantastic and is already becoming a real feature of the home, combining craftsmanship with character and functionality.

We're also pleased to say that Building Control inspections are fully up to date, with every stage of the project progressing smoothly and in line with regulations.
